Distinguished poet and professor Earl S. Braggs will read at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 9, at the McGriff Alumni House in Sewanee. The event will be hosted by the Sewanee English Department, and a reception and book signing will follow the reading. We hope to see you there!
Braggs is the Herman H. Battle Professor of African American Studies, as well as creative writing and Russian literature, at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He has published six volumes of poetry, including Hat Dancer Blue, which won the Anhinga Prize for Poetry.
