We are saddened to share the passing of Cheri Peters, who served the Sewanee Writers' Conference community over our first 20 years. Cheri graciously set the tone by warmly welcoming writers to the Mountain each summer.

There will be live streaming of her memorial service this Saturday, May 21, at 3PM CST.

We will be offering a Cheri Peters Scholarship to this summer's Conference in memory of Cheri.
