James Magruder

James Magruder's fiction has appeared or will appear in The Gettysburg Review, Subtropics, Bloom, The Normal School, and the anthologies Boy Crazy and New Stories from the Midwest. His debut novel, Sugarless, was published by the University of Wisconsin Press in 2009 and was shortlisted for a Lamdba Literary Award. He teaches at Swarthmore College and the Yale School of Drama. Cody Walker

Cody Walker's poems have appeared in Parnassus, Slate, and The Best American Poetry. He has received fellowships from the University of Arizona Poetry Center and the Amy Clampitt Fund. His first book, Shuffle and Breakdown, was published by Waywiser Press in 2008. (Walter E. Dakin Fellow)

Jillian Weise

Jillian Weise is the author of a poetry collection, The Amputee's Guide to Sex (Soft Skull Press, 2007), and a novel, The Colony (Soft Skull Press/Counterpoint, 2010). Her recent essay, "Going Cyborg," appeared in the New York Times. She received fellowships from the Fine Arts Work Center, the Fulbright Program, and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro before joining the faculty at Clemson University. (Walter E. Austin Bunn

Austin Bunn's fiction and nonfiction have appeared in Zoetrope, The Pushcart Prize, New York Times Magazine, Best American Science and Nature Writing and elsewhere. Fellowships include the Axton Fellowship in Fiction and Michener-Copernicus Society. He teaches in Michigan. (Georges and Anne Borchardt Scholarship)

Larry Herold

Larry Herold's play The Sports Page is featured in this summer's Northern Writes New Play Festival. His first play, Preacherosity, was produced in London in 2006. He is a member of the Playwrights' Center and Dramatists Guild. He lives in Texas. (Tennessee Williams Scholar)

Barrett Hathcock

Barrett Hathcock lives in Memphis, Tennessee, and teaches creative writing at Rhodes College. He’s had stories and essays published in the Colorado Review, Arkansas Review, The MacGuffin, nth position, and Fried Chicken and Coffee. He serves as a contributing editor for Quarterly Conversation. (Tennessee Williams Scholar)
